Corporate Objectives
Murni primary objective is to take advantage on the needs of nurses in Malaysia to achieve 1:200 ratio of trained nurses to total population in Malaysia by 2020 (defined by WHO for developed country). With the current statistic of 1:500 (data published in 2008), Murni has the objective to be among the main contributors to help Malaysia to achieve this goal. Murni will train nursing students to help Malaysia overcoming the shortages and needs for nurses, in line with our corporate vision and mission.
Murni core business will continue to focus on health education, particularly in nursing and health sciences. It remains our objective to protect this core business and strive to be known and recognised locally and internationally as we grow as an organization. Meanwhile Murni is exploring the possibilities to expand the core through adjacent opportunities and more programmes are being added to our portfolio. Murni is confident that the investment would reap its fair market share in this industry.
