Diploma in Nursing
Our Diploma in Nursing programme is not like any other nursing programme. It has been developed to train you to be both knowledgeable and highly skilled to be the most competent professional nurses in Malaysia or the world.
In this programme, theory and clinical application skills will be taught on an ongoing basis. You will learn theory and skills for 10 weeks and then apply what you have learnt in hospital for another 10 weeks . This process will go on untill your last semester where you will sit for LJM examination. Once you have pass the LJM exam you will get your LJM number or nursing ID which qualifies you as registered nurse.
From here you have two choices, either to further study or work and gain experience. If you choose to work, there are various fields in health industry await you such as neonatal nurse , neo-surgical nurse, pediatric, surgical nurse, midwifery, cardiac and so on. On the other hand, you can also further your study for a Degree locally or abroad.
So what it takes to be a nurse?. This profession requires you to care for individuals, families and communities so they may get optimal health and quality of life when they are sick or in need.
As such, having a caring personality is definitely a plus to make this job meaningful to you. If you think you are lacking on this point, don't worry though, we will help you dig your caring personality deeper and train you to be the best nurse you've ever imagined. Talking about reward, you'll be happy to know that nurses are having a good starting salary and some even earn 6 figure income a month abroad. It only takes some dedication and hardwork from your side to be successful.
